I have been becoming more and more fond of Vox, largely because it does the community thing right. In fact, one of the first things I did when I was determining whether this website was a good idea was to look on Vox for a group or anyone posting about Napa. There were lots of people out there, but most were talking about their wine tasting weekends. That is when I knew napakids.org was the right thing to do. Since then, I have lamented that the only way that people can interact with Napa Kids and Families is to either become one of our bloggers, or to comment on posts that are up already. Not that those are bad ideas, but there was something missing.
I spent some time this week with one of Vox's big thinkers, and it hit me what needed to happen. I have set up a group on Vox where we can share our experiences and thoughts.
Hi there,
I am thinking of starting a parent organization in Napa and have looked up various online sites for Napa parents. Can the person in charge of this site contact me. Thanks.
Kathy DeMaggio told me about this site a couple years ago. Debbie
